Overview

Editorial opinion

The ZenWiFi BT8 is one of the few Wi-Fi 7 systems with official OpenWrt support. Each node has MediaTek's MT7988D, 1 GB of RAM, tri-band BE14000 Wi-Fi and two 2.5 GbE ports.

It is usually sold in two-packs, which makes it a strong base for an OpenWrt mesh (802.11s or wired backhaul). Installation uses a recovery web page started with the reset button.
