Overview

Editorial opinion

The Flint 3 is the Wi-Fi 7 successor of the Flint 2, with tri-band BE9300 Wi-Fi, five 2.5 GbE ports, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of eMMC. It runs GL.iNet's own OpenWrt-based firmware, which is not the same as official OpenWrt.

Its Qualcomm IPQ5332 platform is not supported by official OpenWrt releases. Community work to port it is under way on the OpenWrt forum, but there are no official images. If you want upstream OpenWrt today, the GL.iNet Flint 2 (GL-MT6000) is the safe choice.
