Overview

Editorial opinion

The Redmi AX6000 offers MediaTek's quad-core 2 GHz Filogic 830 and 4×4 Wi-Fi 6 at a budget price, which made it popular with OpenWrt users. It is mostly sold in China.

Like other Xiaomi routers, installing OpenWrt starts by gaining SSH access to the stock firmware. All four ports are gigabit.
