Travel router with a quad-core Qualcomm CPU; official OpenWrt support is recent, so the Beryl AX is the safer OpenWrt pick.

Overview

Editorial opinion

The Slate AX packs the same Qualcomm IPQ6000 as the original Flint into a travel router with three gigabit ports. Official OpenWrt images use the qualcommax/ipq60xx target, which arrived much later than support for MediaTek-based GL.iNet models.
